Joyce Korotkin is an artist as well as an art critic and independent curator based in New York. Her paintings and drawings have been exhibited both nationally and internationally in museums and galleries, and are included in museum and public collections.

As a critic, Korotkin has written extensively on art, and, most recently, theater. A US Correspondent writing feature articles and reviews for tema celeste contemporary art, she has also contributed to ArtReview, written numerous essays for artist's catalogs, and co-authored a book, NeoBaroque! (with Micaela Giovannotti, published by Charta, 2006). As an independent curator, Korotkin has most recently co-curated Out of True in the Design District during Art/Basel/Miami 2006, and NeoBaroque! for Byblos Art Gallery in Verona, Italy.
