About Joyce Korotkin

Joyce Korotkin is an artist whose work is exhibited both nationally and internationally in museums, galleries and art fairs, and is included in museum and public collections.
As well, Korotkin is an art journalist, independent curator, scenic designer and art teacher. She has written extensively on art and theater for internationally published art journals including Tema Celeste Contemporary Art, ArtReview and ArtNews, as well as catalog essays for artists and galleries, and co-authored a book, NeoBaroque! (Charta, 2005). Korotkin has curated numerous exhibitions; co-curated Out of True in the Design District during Art/Basel/Miami 2006, and NeoBaroque! for Byblos Art Gallery in Verona, Italy. Korotkin is the Set Designer for Opera Theater of Montclair, doing scenic design and production, and teaches art at the Montclair Art Museum.
